BAFTA and Eddie winning Editor
I've worked as an editor in Documentaries, Features, TV and Commercials for around 30 years. My documentary work has been honoured with two Oscar wins. The first, in 2009, for Man On Wire and the second, in 2021, for My Octopus Teacher. Both films received critical acclaim and multiple international awards.
On dramas I've worked, among others, with directors James Marsh, Sir David Hare, Jodie Foster, Kevin McDonald, Otto Bathurst, Charlotte Bruus Christensen and Johan Renck. I was BAFTA nominated for Best Editing on The Theory of Everything in 2015 , and in 2020 I won the Best Editing BAFTA for Chernobyl.
I've won two ACE Eddie Awards for both drama and documentary editing.
Over the years, I've edited commercials for directors Suzanne Bier, Errol Morris, Tom Hooper, Owen Harris, Mike Figgis, Spike Lee, Dante Ariola and Tony Kaye.
More recent documentary work includes The Princess for Ed Perkins, and My Mercury for Joelle Chesselet and Pippa Erlich. Consulting work includes Evegeny Afineevsky’s Winter on Fire (Oscar nominated), Lucy Cohen’s Kingdom of Us (BAFTA nominated) and the aforementioned My Octopus Teacher (BAFTA Winner, Oscar Winner 2021).
